A gruesome scene that once again has an animal as its victim. At O'ahu Beach in Hawaii, a man walking along the shoreline found this dog in truly dramatic conditions. After being beaten, she was buried and the only part left outside, burned by the sun's rays.
The man immediately alerted PAWS Hawaii, an NGO dedicated to rescuing animals. The dog was named Leialoha and was taken to the veterinary hospital to treat dehydration and skin problems. Not only that, the vets found that she had cuts and lacerations on her forelegs and speculate that she was abused before being buried and abandoned.

Fortunately, however, the timely intervention of the passer-by avoided the worst. Leialoha's photos have been published on social networks by the NGO to make her story known and find a new family. To answer the call was a woman named Amanda:
“We were looking at Facebook when we found out about this little dog's story. Our hearts broke. As soon as we saw her we knew we had to take care of her, ”explains the woman.
