This dog brings some relief and hope to doctors and nurses facing the coronavirus emergency in Denver
He is about to end up run over, his mother saves himA symbolic image that shows once again how animals can be supportive in really difficult times. A doctor sitting on the ground, exhausted from extra hours of work due to the coronavirus emergency, finds some relief and tranquility by stroking Wynn, a dog trained in pet therapy at the hospital.
Destroyed by massacred shifts, stress and tension, in a moment of pause, this doctor enjoys Wynn, the Labrador who is bringing joy and comfort to all the Denver medical staff. Just one year old and endless sweetness, Wynn gets pampered on break in the emergency room at Rose Medical Center. The dog was trained by Susan Ryan, the emergency doctor in the picture and has been in the ward for some time to bring relief to patients. But with this emergency, doctors and nurses need him.
“I just slumped on the floor and said 'can I just have a minute with her?'” Ryan told CNN and continued: “Seeing certain things has a big impact on you. When there is a dog and you caress it, you are recovering a bit of serenity ”.

Wynn is currently in training to become an assistance dog for a nonprofit, but has been on the ward since she was eight weeks old. In his first year of life he has already brought affection and moments of happiness to many patients and now he helps the staff to overcome stress.
In general, the beautiful cream-colored dog is in the social workers' office and whoever wants to can take a little break with him, amidst soft lighting and meditation music. A kind of social training that chases away worries and helps to better cope with this extraordinary work in the trenches.
