This time the massacre is a stone's throw from us, on the hills of Tarzo where until recently, there were trees and plants and today no more. For this reason, three owners of farms in the area and the technicians who carried out the deforestation work to make room for new vineyards, were reported to the forest police for building and landscaping abuse.
It was the reports of citizens that led to the complaint because in fact, those areas have landscape, environmental and hydrogeological constraints and therefore the trees were cut without any authorization to plant Prosecco docg vineyards.
So after the necessary checks carried out between July and August we arrived at complaints and fines.
The farms would have cleared a hectare and a half of land between the hills of Arfanta, Prapian and Costa di Là thus destroying an ecosystem, since the area is also a natural habitat of the precious bees. Not only that, one of the companies had also built a road in a protected area.
