The dog cannot get on the plane, so they leave him on the ground tied to a pole. It happens at JFK in New York, on a cold November morning: when they arrive at check-in they realize they don't have the necessary documents to take their dog on board and no, they don't call a family member or friend to come and pick up Fido.

The gesture left everyone speechless and an emergency services officer from the New York Police Department intervened immediately to help the frightened dog. He contacted the New York Bully Crew and asked for assistance. The dog was transported to the Animal Care Centers facility in Brooklyn.
At the moment a police investigation is underway with allegations of abandonment, meanwhile the renunciation of ownership has already been applied ex officio, to allow the dog to be adopted as quickly as possible.
