    Raisa 9 years ago and it is a ballerina exceptional, discovered by chance by Sergeant Rômulo Gouveia in a very poor region of Paraíba, while distributing food baskets to residents.





    His delicacy struck him very much as well as the poverty of his family, living in a shack in the Dinamérica neighborhood, in Campina Grande, Paraíba.

    On another occasion, returning to the place, Rômulo saw her with her brother and her mother on a cart destined for the collection of recycled material, with which they survive. Speaking with her family, she discovered that Raíssa's dream is to become a dancer in order to offer her mother a home.

    The latter added that her daughter has had this dream since the age of 4 and that she is studying dance for free at the Municipal Theater, which she reaches on time despite not even having the money to pay for the bus. And she in fact she goes there on foot in spite of the considerable distance from her house.

    Seeing what conditions his family was in, Rômulo decided to intervene by asking for help from soldiers Yury and Josenilson. They then took pictures of the little girl in ball gowns and made a video of him dancing.

    Everything was published on social media accompanying the images with the request for help, "A house for a dancer", to build the family home. And it worked!

    Now that more than R $ 13.800 has been raised, construction of the house can finally begin. Rômulo stated that the work will be carried out by an experienced bricklayer. In the meantime, little Raíssa is waiting for nothing more than to go back to studying ballet, the lessons have in fact been suspended due to the pandemic.

    Now he will finally have at least one home and will be able to devote himself to his great passion with more tranquility!
