The parish priest therefore decided to publish the photos of two sick children immediately the controversy has broken out. The phenomenon is neither under control nor resolved by now. Don Patriciello stressed that in the Land of Fires people continue to get sick, especially children.
He called the situation a real war. According to his words, the alarm cannot cease and the number of dead is deceiving. The pastor invites to go and see what is the real situation of the hospitals in Naples and its surroundings, where many patients do not even have a bed to rest and where the waiting lists for hospitalization are endless.
"It is necessary to enter the houses where our loved ones are dying out and humbly ask how they are doing to get by ...", here is the invitation of this priest who is a direct witness of the consequences on the health of the population linked to the tragedy of the Land of Fires. .
In the face of the invitation to put oneself at the service of others to help those who suffer, there was no lack of controversy. The parish priest would have asked the parents for the permission to publish photos of the two children (Aurora and Mattia, aged 8) but at the same time a connection between their pathological condition and the reality of the facts would not have been demonstrated, according to what was declared by the philosopher Andrea Masullo.
Therefore the parish priest would violate the privacy of the children? They are simply two children of the Land of Fires, who suffer in hospital probably like many of their fellow countrymen, very young or adults. One can perhaps criticize the publication of the photos on social networks (yet the parental authorization would have been there) but we cannot close our eyes to the condition of those who are in hospital, sick, often alone, in the Land of Fires as well as in other places.
