Surprise in the park: dog-sitter stumbles upon a box full of tennis balls, with a moving message

While passing through Ely Country Park, a dog-sitter noticed a box of tennis balls and a tearful message.

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

Kayley Drewitt, a 29-year-old English dog-sitter, often goes for a walk with the dogs she takes care of at theEly Country Park, in England. But a few days ago, while she was in the company of little Ozzy (a seven month old Springer Spaniel), the girl came across a strange paper carton with a message written with a black marker. Pushed by curiosity, she approached to better understand what it was and reading the writing she was unable to hold back her tears.

I'm too old to play with my favorite tennis balls right now. - read the message - But it would make me very happy to know that younger dogs can have fun with these. Love, Jarvis the Cocker Spaniel.

Ozzy didn't have it repeated twice and immediately started playing with tennis balls. Struck by the sweetness of that gesture, Kayley then decided to immortalize the box and post a post on Facebook, in which she admits "You made us both very happy, so thank you very much Jarvis the Cocker Spaniel, kind dog."

From Kayley-Rae #ShoutOut Hi, I would just like to do a special shout-out.I am a dogwalker and whilst walking…

The post received several from users, who shared messages of solidarity with the dog now too old to play with his beloved tennis balls.

“It immediately brought tears to my eyes,” someone writes. But the real surprise came a few days later, when the dog sitter was contacted by Lian Wymer, the owner of Jarvis, who by pure chance had noticed the girl's post.

Jarvis is almost 11 years old and has very severe arthritis, so he can no longer play. - Told Jarvis to the dog-sitter - But he was a very active big dog who liked to carry a ball in his mouth wherever we went. My husband was cleaning the back of the car where all his balls were stored, and he was about to throw them away, but I told him not to. They were such an important part of Jarvis' daily life. I said I'd rather give it to someone else. So I put them in a box, wrote a little note on them and left it in the park. M, due to Covid, I wasn't sure people would get them to entertain their dogs.

And, instead, little Ozzy found them, who - as the photos show - really enjoyed!    Follow us on Telegram | Instagram | Facebook | TikTok | Youtube   Source: Facebook Read also:
