Recycle straws to create beautiful eco-Jewelry. It is thanks to an idea by Federica Fornari that some of the most representative objects of today's disposable culture have been transformed into the most suitable raw materials to create eco-fashion jewelry and accessories, based on the concept of the importance of recycling and reuse, truly capable of becoming a powerful part of the lifestyle of those who do not give up on being fashionable.
The creative idea of Federica, a Roman designer, as she explained to us, was born by chance about a year ago, as often happens with the best flashes of genius. Our artist has thus begun to collect, cut out, overlap and assemble straws to create small jewels, until obtaining ever better and more and more appreciated results. To create her own jewels, the very young designer also makes use of small metal parts, necessary to support their colorful and captivating structures.
The artist's collections, which take the name of So Plastic, are made up of necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets, which can be combined to create real sets made up of eco-sustainable jewels with a cheerful and fun appearance and which immediately recall the summer season.
Their visual impact of sure effect makes them suitable for women and girls who prefer not to conform to the most common trends, choosing accessoriesunconventional.
The jewelry collection was born from the will of the designer of decontextualize an object of common use and rather banal like the straw, whose use normally lasts no more than a few minutes. The straws thus find a new life in eco-jewelry which you can now buy online, at affordable prices, through Etsy and Blomming.
