A web platform to improve the living conditions of dogs in kennels. How? PetITfriend provides the possibility for each user to view and donate specific products for each animal, purchasing them directly through a dedicated market place. In short, through the platform you can choose how help animals in distress, making sure your help arrives.
The difficult and noble goal is to create more "transparent" kennels, facilitating the work of administrations and volunteers in management, ensuring greater transparency for users and improving the living conditions of four-legged friends.
It was conceived by some young social technologists from beMINT, a group of innovation professionals born thanks to the project promoted by MIUR (PON R&C 2007-2013) to involve public administrations, individuals and citizens in the co-creation and realization of a product / service for the well-being of the territory.
A tool that, starting fromlove for animals and by the concern for their welfare even and above all when they are in a condition of restriction such as that of a kennel, can guarantee them acceptable conditions of existence and sufficient levels of well-being. But help is needed to develop the platform. This is why the crowdfunding campaign on TIM #WCAP was born.
“The PetITfriend team made their work available for the design and development of the navigable mockup. However, to start the service we need your contribution which will finance the development of the web platform and define a simple and attractive graphics able to facilitate the managers and volunteers of the kennels in their daily activities. For this reason we have activated a campagna on crowdfunding. We have chosen this method of "collective financing", because not being able to count on other resources, we strongly believe that everyone's contribution can affect both the well-being of dogs present in municipal kennels and in the improvement of a public service that is too often inefficient and expensive ”, explains Rosaria Lovecchio Phd in Business Administration, expert in business networks and public-private partnerships.
