In fact, in a nearby house, an important fire was unleashed that was enveloping the whole building in flames and smoke.

    “Mia has never barked until today, not at all - the owner of the labrador-hero explains at the door of the house - Tonight she started barking and growling and, looking out on the landing, I saw the smoke coming out of the neighbor's door. I knocked on the door and I heard the answer: “I don't care, I don't care about anything” ”, says Mia's owner.

    In fact, it was a 53-year-old who set the fire who wanted to end his life by blowing up his apartment. Firefighters and 118 were immediately alerted and sent men to the scene. They broke down the front door and secured the area, extinguishing the fire and disconnecting the light and gas. The interior of the apartment was almost completely burned.

    The would-be suicide, meanwhile, had gone to the balcony, threatening to jump downstairs. The agents managed to reason with him. Now he is guarded in the hospital, while the condominiums, astonished by the whole affair, they will forever be grateful to Mia, the hero dog who saved their lives from a fire that could have been worse.
