In appearance it resembles a giant Lego building. In reality, this nursery school is made of bricks but it has been made recalling the famous bricks to give a more cheerful and playful atmosphere.

In fact, brick can often be seen as boring and traditional, but this is not the case as the Vietnamese architects of the Kientruc O studio transformed this material in a creative way.

The school in question is Ho Chi Minh City's Chuon Chuon Kim 2. The building is made entirely of bare bricks arranged to form a captivating and playful facade, which also favors natural ventilation.

Compared to a giant Lego building, the Chuon Chuon Kim 2 Kindergarten features some sections painted in yellow to give an even more spectacular effect.

A playful atmosphere, yes, but according to the architects it was also necessary to create a space where relaxation and calm prevailed. To this end, the building is organized around a central nucleus, focused on fun and games, which branches off to different classrooms.

From the garden to the ground floor, the spaces are centered around an opening visible from the outside. Climbing to the top, the interior spaces connect to a rooftop garden.

Each floor is organized with alternating spaces to enhance vertical interaction, encourage children to be more receptive to the environment and stimulate their creativity.

The walls also have large windows that connect the internal space with the external one, also guaranteeing natural light and a natural cooling system.

The materials are also completely natural. And finally, the roof is occupied by the garden, which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Saigon River.

Moving within this kindergarten is considered liberating due to the continuous changes of spaces and the different experiences that can be tried in each of them.

A place dedicated to children, but also very popular with adults.
