Kennel for cats and dogs
you can turn them into a chic bed for your cat or for your little dog by simply adding a nice pillow or applying 4 legs to one of the two parts of the suitcase and thus transforming it into an ad hoc bed!
Entrance cabinet
it can become an ultra decorative cabinet perhaps perfect in your "reading area" or suitable for your entrance by applying 4 legs to a light plywood panel which you will then screw on the lower part to make everything more stable and finally you will paint to your taste.
bedside table
if you have more than one you can stack them on top of each other (thus avoiding to undermine their originality!) and transform them into a magnificent coffee table or in one bedside table placing a beautiful wooden table on it as a base (perhaps also recovered!) or a beautiful ultra-decorated tray, a little like a thousand and one night sheikhs;
Travel beauty
you can turn your suitcase into a splendid one travel beauty where you can store not only your favorite products but also a mirror and why not objects from faraway places you visit!
Jar
you can cultivate us! well yes! of course, maybe opt for succulent plants (which want less water and therefore less affect the structure of the suitcase itself which - usually - being made of cardboard tends to ruin with humidity!) or for small aromatic, good, cute and very fragrant seedlings !
Box for hobbies
if the suitcase is small you can turn it into one mini briefcase containing everything you need for your favorite works, are sewing, decoupage, creative recycling to you the choice!
Pouf for living room or armchairs
you can even turn them into small poufs for the living room or in slightly retro armchairs just apply 4 feet, you stuff them with a nice cushion maybe recovered from an old sofa cushion and cover it with a fabric that matches your tastes and your furniture and that's it!
Shoe rack
Finally you can apply a couple of rods by placing two tablets on them and you will have your shoe case!
Other ideas? if you find any 2 of equal height you can use them as "feet" of your new vintage desk by placing and fixing on them a desk top recovered perhaps from some other piece of furniture or you can use them as an archive of documents or photo albums by stacking them one on top of the other diligently labeled ...
Don't have a vintage suitcase? it doesn't matter, the art of recycling can also be experienced on one simple old ugly worn trolley case and now ready to move on to "better life", just arm yourself with paint, glue, brushes and voilà you too will have a pouf, a table or even a kennel for your beloved furry friend!
what is the most beautiful thing? Give free rein to your imagination and dare, the wonderful thing is to end up with a splendid vintage suitcase or not, it doesn't matter but always extremely useful and wonderfully in tune with our tastes and needs!
Recycling does not only mean finding a different use for things, but also choose the use that best suits our needs among all those that the imagination suggests!
