Cino Cibo, as a Facebook group, is a virtual place for sharing experiences in the field of home cooking for dogs where experts and neophytes meet to deepen the issues related to a world still little known and studied.
At the head of the Cino Cibo group we find katya cervio, dog educator expert in home nutrition for dogs. Cino Cibo is not just a Facebook group but a real cultural association that brings together various operators who deal with the world of dogs, their education and health.
The Cino Cibo project, both as a group and as a Facebook page and as a cultural association, was born thanks to Katya Cervio's experience in the field of dog education and in safeguarding the health of the animals of her husband, the veterinarian Giovanni Lorenzi.
The intent to spread greater awareness on home nutrition for dogs was born in 2012. The idea of creating a Facebook group serves to stimulate discussion on this issue and to make available to those who need it a useful tool to search and ask for information that is otherwise difficult to find.
The users of the group can count on the twenty-year experience of the founder of Cino Cibo with regards to home cooking for dogs. Indeed Katya explained to us that with the birth of Cino Cibo:
"The intention was mainly to free the idea of the home diet from the kitchen leftover, unbalanced and not suited to the needs of the dog, to provide simple indications on the needs and needs of the dog and to suggest how to create a simple and functional".
Therefore it is clear from the premises that cooking for dogs doesn't mean reusing scraps and leftovers than what is prepared for the owners' meals but give life to a balanced diet based on the most suitable foods for our four-legged friends. Here then is that Cino Cibo is always at work in defense of dogs and in favor of a better diet for them, in collaboration with various experts, including veterinarians, dog educators and Pet Therapy operators:
"All together we are working to achieve a 360 degree vision of canine nutrition by bringing all our experiences and trying to expand the concept of the dog itself" - Katya told us.
Cino Cibo organizes various meetings dedicated to dogs and how the owners can prepare the most suitable meals for them, all under the motto: have the courage to take your dog's nutrition in hand.
