A turmeric-based cure, as traditional Thai medicine claims, had a totally unexpected side effect on a cat.
It is somewhat bizarre news, yet something really happened: a white cat has turned all yellow. It almost looks like a four-legged canary or, more nicely, our dear old Pikachu. But fear not, this is not about mistreatment.
We are in Thailand and the cat in question bears the name of Ka-Pwong. His mistress, the lady Thammapa Supamas, posted the result of his attempt to cure a furry friend's infection on Facebook. Yellow.

His cure based on turmeric, as traditional Thai medicine would have it, had a totally unexpected side effect. She rubbed the powder concoction all over his body to prevent the fungus from spreading, but the cat turned yellow.

“We had already tried other ways to cure the infection on his paw, but nothing worked. So I also tried the traditional way: first I put the mixture only on the leg, then, since there was a lot left over, I also spread it on the rest of the body, to prevent future mycosis ”, says the lady.
The cat is alive and well and will be white again in a few days!
