After spending the whole day around in the chaotic metropolitan routine, divided between work, the thousand commitments, running up and down the city, what is better, finally back home in the evening, if not to sink into the warm embrace of one thousand pillows?

And if those we have are not enough to satisfy our need for relaxation, making new ones, in an ecological way, is very simple: just a little needle and thread, scraps of fabric, old dresses, sweaters, in short, all that and more soft we have to recycle at home and that's it.

But if the goal is to want to make schools, hospitals and also, why not, houses in underdeveloped countries more comfortable, how to produce almost 2 billion new sessions in an economic way, practical and above all ecological? The answer comes from two Spanish students, Alon Tal and Fabio Alvarez, who, in collaboration with Zilca, a company specializing in recycled materials, presented last September at the design fair Habitat Valencia what is the fruit of the project for their degree thesis: Reverse, a pillow with versatility of shape, volume, size and, which never hurts, beautiful to look at.

However, the feature that makes the soft creation of these two young designers special, so much so that it has earned the interest of international companies, is its filling: 100% recycled foam from old car seats.

Savings, ethics, respect for the environment, functionality, major themes enclosed in an idea of ​​disarming simplicity. Reverse is designed in a way that allow air to enter the unit by up to 50% more volume satisfying our tastes in terms of softness and in addition slaiders and side buttons allow us to create, by personalizing it, the configuration of the seats as we like best.
