He is about to end up run over, his mother saves himWinter and Christmas holidays are upon us and the houses are filled with trees, nativity scenes and themed decorations. What better time than this to make delicious and ecological candles, using seasonal fruit such as oranges?
The candles we offer will give a touch of color and joy to your home and beyond. They will also give off a pleasant citrus aroma. Creating them is really easy and you can get help from your children or grandchildren.
Here is what you need to make a candle using orange:
- un'arancia
- A handful of cloves
- A toothpick
- A knife and a spoon
- A pen or pointed tool
- A small round candle
First, place your small candle on top of the orange and with a pen or a pointed object outline the perimeter that you will "cut out" immediately afterwards, with the help of a knife. Once the upper part of the peel has been removed, dig with a spoon to make room for the candle that you will have to fit right in that point.

After placing the candle by pressing lightly on the orange, arm yourself with toothpicks and prick the rind of the fruit, tracing vertical, horizontal or wavy lines according to your preference.
