By definition, soap is certainly not one of those materials that give a sense of robustness and solidity. How many times have we used soap as a term of comparison to make our interlocutors understand how an object was not very durable and easily damaged. "But go 'don't buy it, can't you see it's made of soap!", Just to cite an example capable of making this self-evident consideration even more intuitive.

During the last Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan that has just ended, however, a LED lamp composed for about 97% precisely from the degreasing and cleaning substance par excellence. This very special and original furniture was designed by study Israeli of architecture and design D-Vision known for its bizarre as well as functional concepts, which did not defy the laws of physics at all as one might think, but simply exploited the intrinsic characteristics of LED lighting.

How is it possible, in fact, that it functions without melting? Simple! LED, being a low heat light source, it allows to keep intact the structure of the lamp composed of soap. We are faced with an attractive design, highly functional and - above all - incredibly in line with respect for the environment.

Being the components electronic reduced to a minimum, in fact, this lamp does not contribute to increasing the tons of electrical and electronic waste (the so-called WEEE) difficult to dispose of. In short, a glycerin-based lamp capable of providing one soft and fragrant light. a ornament different and at the same time innovative, how much ever example of "clean" technology.
