Firefighters and police rescued 150 pigs transported without water under the scorching sun: they would have died after a slow agony

The authorities intervened after the call of a motorist who reported the terrible situation of the animals.
The Dutch truck driver was stopped near Kamen, Germany, and was reported to have violated the animal welfare law after authorities checked that there was no water in the tanks and dramatic health conditions where the animals were.
Unfortunately some of the pigs had already died when the military arrived and the others they will be slaughtered: the animals in fact came from France and were headed for a slaughterhouse in Gütersloh.
Here you are. These are the conditions of the animals transported to slaughterhouses, mistreatment that they undergo both in intensive farming and during transport.
They are forced to live a horrible existence, locked inside overcrowded cages and immersed in dirt and their excrement. Forced to endure constant abuse and cruelty, including castrations without anesthesia that expose them to terrible pain and risk of infection.
The disrespect towards these living beings then continues also in transport: the animals that are taken to slaughterhouses travel frequently crammed into confined spaces without the possibility of sheltering from cold or too high temperatures and without water being made available to him. This is the reality that happens every day.
