So here's how to prepare one the perfect do it yourself versus dry skin:

  1. Warm the equivalent of two tablespoons of XNUMX cups milk and add a few drops d'olive oil or sweet almonds;
  2. Put the liquid in a vial and shake well before use;
  3. Then use it as a normal cleansing milk, wiping off any residues with a paper towel at the end.

Or:



  1. Mix half a glass of melon juice (the winter one is fine, given the period) with the same amount of fresh whole milk and mineral or distilled water.
  2. Store in a closed bottle in the refrigerator for a few days.
  3. Shake the solution vigorously every time you want to moisturize the skin.

In both cases, the result will not only be perfectly clean skin, but also soft and hydrated skin.

How to moisturize the skin of the face

In particular, it is the skin of the face that is affected by the attacks of the cold: for a complete facial cleansing, jumbled up in equal parts yogurt e cooked oatmeal with some juice of cucumber. Yogurt and oats help moisturize and soften, while cucumber juice closes pores. You may be skeptical of this natural remedy, being much less foaming than soap, but this does not mean that it is unable to cleanse your skin properly; on the contrary, it does not damage it like the common creams on the market and it does not contain unnecessary chemical additives.

Also dairy product are a great way to nourish your skin: try mixing two tablespoons of milk, one of ground almonds and one teaspoon of lemon juice to help eliminate dead skin cells.

Dry skin

If the skin on your face is particularly dry, the best treatment is probably under your eyes, simple and decidedly inexpensive: the honey. This substance has been used for centuries as a moisturizer and is able to relieve itching and discomfort on its own. Apply honey on your face exactly like a beauty mask, let it dry for about 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. You will immediately feel a sensation of freshness and cleanliness.



Oily skin

If it is particularly oily, mix a beaten egg white with a teaspoon of sour cream and a teaspoon of grape juice. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. The grapes will gently cleanse your skin, while the egg white will close the pores, giving you a shiny appearance.

A valid alternative in both cases is the dear, old one oil. It was used as a moisturizer long before the products we all use today came on the market. Massage your body daily with a wad of oil for smooth and soft skin.

The oil of coconut and that extra virgin olive oil they are excellent for the skin, in whatever condition it is. For greater moisturizing power, it is also possible to mix the oil with honey (perhaps by heating it to facilitate the creation of the mixture).

How to exfoliate the skin of the face

  • Don't abuse the soap. Often, excessive cleansing of the skin is unnecessary and can speed up the irritation process.
  • Do not use water that is too hot for bathing: the high temperature of the water dries the skin very quickly. In any case, the shower remains the best choice, both for us and for the environment.
  • Always wear scarves and gloves: they are the only way to cope with a long number of hours exposed to the cold and not damage the skin.
