Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous
Fisher Price Rock 'n Play cradle banned from the US, where it caused numerous cot deaths. The Consumer Product Safety Commission raised the alarm and urged parents not to use it.
Unfortunately the SIDS it still frightens and takes its toll. In a Joint Communiqué released with Fisher-Price, the Federal Product Safety Commission reported as many as 10 deaths, all of which occurred in 2015.
“The CPSC is aware of 10 infant deaths in Rock 'n Play since 2015, after babies rolled from back to stomach or side while unbound. All 10 babies were 3 months or older, ”the note reads.
But Consumer Reports, based on a survey conducted by a consumer, found that bouncer use is linked to at least 32 infant deaths.
A risk that absolutely cannot be taken. As deaths continue to occur, the Commission has advised consumers to stop using the bouncer by three months of age or as soon as a baby shows spin ability.
Even if the alarm concerns the US, this product can be purchased all over the world so be careful. As CPSC and Fisher-Price also recall, it is good to create a safe sleeping environment for newborns, whether they use a crib and bouncer. Never add blankets, pillows, soft toys or other objects to the room and always place children on their backs.
