We can really trust the commercials of the detergents produced by multinationals? THE'Antitrust has intervened once again to warn consumers against misleading advertising and to stop bad practices implemented by companies. Dixan washes no better than Dash, here is the last sentence.

Henkel (Dixan), this time he can't get the better of it P & G (Dash). Both laundry detergents they would be equivalent from the point of view of the results on laundry, unlike what a comparative commercial designed to promote Dixan says. Between Dash and Dixan there is a substantial parity of results in terms of washing.

Even the new formulation of the Dixan product would not be miraculous. One of Henkel's commercials featured a comparative advertising who claimed that the new Dixan "removes stains better than the main competitor already at low temperatures". How many times have consumers done their laundry with one of the two well-known detergents without getting the desired results?

Not always the products that we find on the supermarket shelves they keep their promises and when we take the laundry out of the washing machine, the stains are still where we left them. According to what was communicated by the Italian Antitrust Authority, the comparative advertising spot is misleading given that:

"From the preliminary findings, it emerged that even in the new formulation of the Dixan product, between the two detergents Dixan and Dash there is substantial equal effectiveness in terms of washing results". The Authority therefore ordered the application of a pecuniary administrative sanction ranging from 5.000 to 5.000.000 euros, taking into account the gravity and duration of the violation.

The actual amount of the sanction imposed on Henkel would be equal to 50 thousand euros. Previously, the Authority had also struck P & G, just in relation to the Dash detergent, with a fine of 100 thousand euros, due to the misleading message: “one of our scoops is worth one and a half of the competitor”.

Il "White that can't be whiter" is therefore only a chimera? Common detergents are often not enough to remove stubborn stains. Here then the i come back useful grandmother's remedies which suggested, for example, to rub the stains well with Marseille soap and leave it to act for a long time before moving on to the actual washing.

Not only do the detergents proposed by multinationals fail to keep the promises of a shiny clean and stain-free laundry but, due to their composition and production processes, contribute to polluting the environment. Fortunately, they can also be found in the supermarket by now alternative products, formulated to be ecological and more respectful of the Planet, always guaranteeing real effectiveness. Without forgetting all the home remedies and do-it-yourself that we have available for do the laundry ed remove stains from clothes more easily.
