La transparent snail was found in the heart of the Jama-Trojama Lukina cave system in Croatia, about 900 meters deep. The only example of its species found, in addition to poor vision, it also seems to have a limited ability to move.
A little lazy, the snail moves little and remains above all in the depths of the subsoil, in the cold mud caves but close to running water to ensure that its body remains moist.
