Approval of the anti-Covid vaccine for children (5-11 years) is expected between tomorrow and Monday. According to reports from the Adnkronos, during the control room between Prime Minister Draghi and the heads of delegation of the majority, it would have been decided for a no to the obligation of vaccine and green pass for under 12s.

At the moment it is only rumors but, from what has already been leaked, it seems that there will be no requirement for an anti-Covid vaccine for the little ones, a vaccine for which, however, already tomorrow, the EMA could get the green light.

During the meeting, rather than obligation, there was talk of the need for an awareness campaign to reassure families, a position carried out by the president of the ISS Silvio Brusaferro and by the coordinator of the Cts Franco Locatelli.

The president of Aifa, Giorgio Palù, has made it known that the decision of the EMA on the authorization of the vaccine for the 5-11 range is imminent (between today and tomorrow) and this will then be followed by that of Aifa within 24 hours. Regarding the potential mandatory nature of the vaccine, however, he had expressed himself differently, declaring that "it cannot be excluded" and "it is an assessment that will be made progressively".
