He barked loudly, running up and down the stairs to warn his family about the house fire. He died as a Zippy hero, the Jack Russel Terrier who, with the din of him, allowed his adoptive family to save themselves from the fire.

He barked loudly, running up and down the stairs to warn his family about the house fire. He died a hero Zippy, the Jack Russel Terrier who, with his noise, allowed his adoptive family to save themselves from the fire.
The fire alarm only lasted a few seconds and went off too late anyway, so if it weren't for Zippy, the Butler family would have died in the flames. The fire had broken out around two in the morning in the attic of Leroy Buttler's house.
“We didn't notice anything because we were asleep, but Zippy started running from bed to bed and barking loudly,” Butler explains.
The flames reached the whole house within minutes, but while the family managed to escape, Zippy was engulfed by the fire despite all of Buttler's attempts to save him.

“I tried several times to go back into the house, but the living room floor was all on fire, there was nowhere to escape. The smoke was so high that I couldn't see the dog, ”explains the man again.
While the causes of the fire remain unknown, all of Leroy's family mourns the beloved dog who was a foundling adopted by the family a few years earlier.
“In all these years we have given him so much love, perhaps he wanted to return the favor in this way”.
Farewell to this four-legged hero who shows us the most beautiful side of our animal friends, that of being faithful and loving us unconditionally at the cost of putting their lives in danger.
