There is not only theHanami with the beautiful cherry blossoms in the Asian country. Every year in the Hitachi Seaside Park (in Hitachinaka City, in the prefecture of Ibaraki) over 4 million Nemophila bloom, covering entire expanses and giving a truly unique optical effect. It seems, in fact, to walk on a blue sea thanks to these small flowers that grow on the meadows of the Miharashi hill, in the prefecture of Ibaraki.
And as for the cherry blossom also for the blue Nemophila, there is a real tour to admire the incredible show. In November of each year, the seeds are planted on an area of 35 thousand square meters, which are then covered with antifreeze sheets until spring.
