First of all we are careful to know what kind of skirting board we are about to polish: if many times, in fact, it is nothing more than the continuation of our own floor (parquet, stoneware ...), many others constitute a material in itself, often also painted, and many others keep stains that the rest of the floor does not have. How to remove dust from baseboards

Rule number 1: keep in mind that dust swept from the floor, walls and other surfaces ends up right on the baseboard. So it's best to keep it for last.

If the duvet is not enough and you want to go down, you can use a old toothbrush to remove every single speck from the top edge and insert it too in the gap between the wall and the skirting board, if any, to remove all the dirt that accumulates there. A swipe of the vacuum cleaner along the walls and the dust is gone.
