“Poseidon”, the incredible shot of the sea storm in which the god of the sea appears

    Mathieu Rivrin is a French photographer who loves to immortalize the stormy sea. In his photographs he always manages to capture the extraordinary energy of nature, but a few days ago he took a shot so suggestive that it surprised him too.





    Last weekend the man was there in Lesconil, Brittany, and while he was intent on photographing the powerful sea waves during a storm he managed to capture all the essence of the sea. In fact, in one of these shots you can see what appear to be the features of a face. Naturally Rivrin immediately thought of Poseidon, the god of the sea from Greek mythology.

    The series of photos was posted on the French photographer's Facebook page, who writes: “The waves were incredibly powerful, aesthetic and defied the laws of gravity… Here are some of these beautiful sea surges animated by the spirits of the ocean, captured in Lesconil in the South Finistère. "

    The incredible shot with the face of the god of the sea has been re-shared by thousands of users and reported on numerous newspapers. Mathieu Rivrin himself, now an “expert storm hunter”, would never have expected to witness such an exciting show and to obtain such a success!
