Eleventh Commandment: We do not spare when it comes to children. Cosmetics of poor quality and low price, produced in China and marketed by a German multinational (based in Wiesbaden), proved to be toxic to an investigation by the NAS, ordered by the vicar prosecutor of Turin, Raffaele Guariniello. The investigation was initiated following a report from a lady who, at the time of purchasing a lipstick for her daughter, she was alarmed by the prices deemed excessively low.

The controls have been entrusted to theHARP (Environmental Agency of the Piedmont Region) which found that cosmetics contained large quantities of nickel and chromium, capable of causing severe dermatitis and allergies. Further analysis of theHigher Institute of Health, they also found traces of microbiological contamination.

The investigations of the NAS have instead found lacks on the rules in the labeling, and the failure to report the import of the cosmetics in question to the Ministry of Health. The German multinational has produced further tests on the products that would show different results, but the seizure was still ordered and the cosmetics they are not currently on the market.
