A man and his son decide (no one knows why) to leave their dog, a pit bull, on the terrace in an evident state of abandonment, under the sun and among its excrement. Alerted by the neighbors, the fighters save him but, once free, the animal decides to take revenge by attacking its owners.

It happened in Sanremo where the pit bull, who had been on the terrace for days, was noticed by some neighbors. The dog, in fact, although partially covered by the bamboo canes that surrounded the terrace, stood out and due to the heat one began to smell his excrement.

Fortunately, attentive and conscientious people reported the matter to the municipal which promptly intervened in defense of the animal. However, they certainly did not expect that, once free, he would retaliate.

The pit bull instead decided to bite its owners, a 78-year-old man and his 23-year-old son, who had left him suffer in the sun. The dog literally went crazy and, to prevent it from hurting the agents as well, he was locked up at home until a veterinarian was able to sedate him with a blowpipe thanks also to the collaboration of the firefighters who made him go up to the terrace with the ladder.

With fairly serious injuries on their arms, the two owners were taken to the emergency room but this will not help them avoid a complaint for animal abuse.

Now the dog is in custody at the ASL where the necessary analyzes are in progress, in particular it must be understood if he has rabies or other diseases. However, it is not known what will become of the pit bull, we hope that he does not pay him for the impropriety and cruelty of his owners.
