Nine Golden Retrievers kidnapped from a farm are now looking for a new family: contact numbers

The National Dog Defense League has secured judicial custody of 9 Golden Retrievers and now they are all waiting for a home.

They were seized and now the National Dog Defense League has obtained judicial custody of the animals. The dogs are two to eight years old and are all adoptable. We explain how

9, 7 females and 2 males had been kidnapped from a breeding farm, the Golden Retrievers "detained in conditions incompatible with their ethological needs in a breeding farm in the province of Piacenza" and the National League for the Defense of the Dog was a civil party in the process.

Now the association has managed to obtain judicial custody of the animals and they are all waiting for a home.

Initially, before being entrusted to the National League for the Defense of the Dog, these dogs had been placed in temporary custody at the Piacenza kennel. In the hearing - explains Michele Pezone, animal rights manager of LNDC Animal Protection - the defendant's defender had requested to obtain the release from seizure of the animals and their return to the farm from which they came. The judge, on the other hand, accepted our prompt request, not to return these animals to the hands from which they had been saved. And we finally got judicial custody.

The dogs, of which seven females and two males, are between two and eight years old and can be given in legal custody for the time being, ie they could be returned to the breeding from which they were seized.

The process has just begun, there was only the first hearing - concludes Annamaria Galimberti, head of the LNDC Animal Protection section of Piacenza - but we are confident that everything will go well and that the nine Golden will soon be able to live in new families.
