Are you afraid of spiders? Then you absolutely must not move to this city in Australia where a very special phenomenon has occurred in the last few days.

A small Australian town it was literally overrun by thousands of little spiders, as if they had rained down from the sky. In their work, spiders have covered every surface at their disposal with cobwebs.

The phenomenon is known as Angel Rain. Ian Watsan, a local resident, explained on Facebook to be home and to have found his home completely surrounded by hundreds of small spiders and their cobwebs.

The incident seems really grotesque, bordering on the horror film, but according to scientists the rains of spiders they are actually a natural phenomenon and not as rare as one might think.

The arachnologist Rick Vetter in fact, he explained that phenomena of this type occur around us at all times, only that we do not notice it. However, it is possible that none of us have ever witnessed a shower of spiders, because these phenomena do not always occur in the same places and are not predictable. Among other things, this specific behavior implemented by spiders can depend on weather conditions, with currents that carry the spiders as if they were on a hot air balloon.

Spider rains were spotted between May and August in New South Wales. Spiders during migrations fly in the sky and at some point the winds can push them towards the ground. So we see them fall with theirs cobwebs, which make the phenomenon similar to rain or snow.

These spiders, which are called ballooning spiders, are not poisonous and they are not dangerous for man. There is nothing to worry about, therefore, when spider rains occur. A change in weather conditions will be enough to bring everything back to normal.
