A life in chains and just 11 kilos of weight. Her story was told on social media by the organization Go Dogs Go Rescue Inc which gave Hero a future. From an early age he had been tied to that tree.

Probably Hero had never seen others like him and even if he wanted to, tied to a chain, it was impossible for him to socialize, play, run. The couple who had taken him when he was still a puppy had confined him there, exposed to the sun and the elements. So far from well-being. Rescuers saved him and renamed him Hero, because in fact he was a hero to survive. A dog who suffers from cold, rain and sun for four years, chained, is a hero. A survivor of it all. Taken to the shelter, operated on for a hernia, cured of his wounds, Hero immediately showed affection, despite the abuse suffered. His eyes are sad, but he's getting used to cuddling.
