It all started with a 27 second clip of the dog walking outside on a beautiful sunny day. But there was one detail that infuriated fans and social media users: his coat was completely dyed a bright cherry red.

Many pointed out that the dye could pose dangerous health risks to the dog, but Valee clarified the concerns by informing that the dye was "vegan edible dye". In short, no chemicals.
But is this enough to justify an aesthetic treatment that is of no use to the dog, but that is done 'only' for fashion?
