    Chihuaha abusive breeding discovered: 17 dogs left without food and water released

    An abusive Chihuahua kennel discovered in the province of Salerno, where 17 puppies were forced to survive in disastrous conditions

    Yet another case of animal abuse, this time in Campania: seventeen chihuahuas were released by the Forestry Carabinieri of Cava de 'Tirreni following a check in a abusive breeding in Nocera Inferiore, in the province of Salerno.





    The dogs were found crammed into a cage in dramatic condition. In fact, inside the box the poor animals they did not have enough food available, water and not even adequate recycling of the air.
    Among the seventeen Chihuahuas there were also two puppies about two months old, as well as non-sterilized and microchip-free adult males and females. The little dogs were also dirty, infested with ticks and fleas, suffering from dermatitis and motor problems caused by bad conditions in which they were forced to survive.

    Il proprietario breeding was denounced after the intervention of the military, entered the structure together with the veterinarian of the Salerno ASL Luigi Toro.
    After verifying the conditions in which the animals were held, the puppies were kidnapped and entrusted to a Zoophilic association of the Campania Region, who will provide the 17 Chihuahuas with adequate care and make sure to find a family for them.
