He was brutally beaten in the head, screaming in pain when he was found. It is the sad story of a Maremma-like puppy, brutally beaten and then abandoned. To save him were the volunteers of the Enpa of Canosa, who took care of him.

The little one, who is just over 3 months old, was renamed Fortunello. The poor animal was found about a month and a half ago, seriously injured. A blow to the head had caused his skull to puncture and his brain jolted. For four days he remained in a vegetative state, could not eat and did not respond to stimuli. His fate seemed sealed but Fortunello made it.

The little warrior woke up from a coma and decided that even if his had begun uphill, life still had to be lived. Unfortunately, however, his injuries were so serious that they left him with deficits.

“Because of the blow to the head, he has half blindness left, we still don't know if he sees something or doesn't see anything, we will soon have an eye examination to define everything.
We just know that he is not a normal puppy and he needs a special family. Currently he suffers from secondary diabetes insipidus, he drinks a lot of water and urine in the exact same amount, today he has started his treatment, he will have to take FOREVER A SPRAY to be injected directly into the nose. He has a deficit in his right front paw, he certainly does not walk like a normal dog, perhaps one day he could suffer from epileptic seizures ”explains the ENPA.
