In any case, the movements must be rapid, because as the sugar wax cools down it loses its ability to pull out the hair.

After finishing the job, any residue on the skin can be washed off with warm water in the shower. Likewise, the wax left on the cotton strips is easily removed by washing the fabric in hot water.
