Villa Bau Village: the beach for dogs on the banks of the Tiber

An extraordinary place awaits Roman dogs for the summer. In Viale Tor di Quinto, along the Tiber embankment between the Milvio bridge and the Flaminio bridge, there is Villabauvillage, the fully equipped beach for the entertainment of four-legged friends and their owners within a capital, Rome. Here, bipeds and quadrupeds will be able to fight the heat of the summer season, without depriving themselves of each other's company.

Many services are offered. There is one available for dogs 50m x 5m pool, 50cm deep, to allow dogs of any size to splash around freely and cool off. Water bowls, sachets for solid manure and showers are a must. What about humans? For them therebeds, deck chairs, a toilet and a bar. Finally, for the more sporty 6-legged couples there are educational courses held by educators recognized and certified by Csen.

The novelty for the 2013 season is the dog parking: a dedicated area where dogs can be left while the owner goes to run his errands. To register for all services, however, the dog must meet the following requirements: regular vaccinations and registration in the canine registry; no physical or health problems; not be aggressive and / or dangerous towards other dogs and / or people; play regularly free with other dogs.

When registering the owner must deliver a photocopy of your dog's health card and a copy of your identity document. Villa bau village is open from Monday to Sunday and from 09,00 to 19,00. If you pass through Rome ... fasten your collars and put on the leash!
