During a hunt in the countryside in the province of Sassari, a huntress shot a wild boar that had emerged from the bushes, but was unable to kill it instantly. Thus, the injured animal reacted by attacking it, or rather defending itself, and trying to bite it. But the young woman promptly defended herself by "beating" with the barrel of the rifle on the animal's head until it escaped.
The whole scene was shot by the huntress, probably with an action camera, and the video ended up online.

The episode rekindled the controversy over hunting on the island. And indeed in a dramatic moment, made up of restrictions and controls, such as the one we are experiencing, it seems really absurd to allow hunting as if it were a necessary activity for citizens.
