He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

During a hunt in the countryside in the province of Sassari, a huntress shot a wild boar that had emerged from the bushes, but was unable to kill it instantly. Thus, the injured animal reacted by attacking it, or rather defending itself, and trying to bite it. But the young woman promptly defended herself by "beating" with the barrel of the rifle on the animal's head until it escaped.

The whole scene was shot by the huntress, probably with an action camera, and the video ended up online.

The episode rekindled the controversy over hunting on the island. Just in recent months the association LAV (Anti-Vivisection League) turned to the governor of Sardinia Christian Solinas, asking for the suspension of the 2020/2021 hunting season for "for serious health reasons, as provided for in article 19 paragraph 1 of law 157/92 on hunting, to protect the health of citizens Sardinians also considered the resurgence of the epidemic and the fragility of the island's health. " But the LAV's appeal went unheeded.

"Last year saw Sardinia in first place for hunting accidents, which were not lacking even in this first part of the season. - points out the LAV section of Cagliari in a post on Facebook - Accidents, often serious, put hospitals in crisis with most of the departments dedicated to Covid. Vehicles, medical and rescue personnel are committed. A helicopter was recently needed to transport a hunter attacked by a wild boar from Campeda to Sassari. Numerous much less risky activities are already prohibited to citizens in order to avoid accidents and to reduce the risks associated with contagion. The gatherings of hunters for hunting trips, in remote uncontrollable places, post-hunting ritual activities, contact with the blood of killed wild animals and slaughtering are situations with a high risk of contagion. Hunting practices against which other administrators, such as the mayor of Luras for example, have taken a stand. LAV's appeal was ignored while that of hunters was promptly accepted, despite the national restrictions to contrast the expansion of Covid. "

And indeed in a dramatic moment, made up of restrictions and controls, such as the one we are experiencing, it seems really absurd to allow hunting as if it were a necessary activity for citizens.
