Glover Elementary School in Milton, Massachusetts has a beautiful tradition. In fact, every year it allows the ducks to nest in the internal courtyard of the building which is transformed into a safe place for the birth of the ducklings.
Glover Elementary School in Milton, Massachusetts houses one beautiful tradition. In fact, every year it allows the ducks to nest in the internal courtyard of the building which is transformed into a safe place for the birth of the anatroccoli.
When the eggs hatch, the whole school is committed to guide mother duck and ducklings to the nearest pond in complete safety. This is how on May 4th the children who attend this elementary school had the opportunity to witness the fantastic march of mother duck followed by her ducklings.
The children sat along the path of the mother duck passage which for the occasion was followed by ten little ones. The video shows the mother duck and the ducklings during the walk that led the little family to the pond.
For the children it was a wonderful opportunity to be able to admire closely the free animals, ready to reach their natural habitat. The moment when the mother duck and the ducklings jumped into the pond was a really big celebration.
The march of mother duck with her ducklings it has been a tradition of the school for ten years now and every time it is repeated it always has a great success among the children who attend the event.
