Even more water offered by a group of people who were on site did not give any results. The dog was terribly ill.

Upon reaching a stream, Kris placed the dog in the water, knelt beside him, pouring water on his face and body. Then he loaded him on his shoulder again and hit the road. In all his heroic journey lasted about an hour.
