When it is said to be in the right place at the right time: an otter chased by an orca jumped on a boat, thus managing to save his life.
The video was shot in Halibut Cove, Alaska, United States by John Dornellas, a man who was taking a simple boat ride and who never, ever, would have expected to witness such a scene.

About 200 meters from him, he had seen an orca chasing an otter who was swimming as hard as he could, in an attempt to save himself.

At one point, the otter jumps into his boat to find a safe haven. The orca runs several times but nothing to do. And in the end, Dornellas also reveals the otter's trick: several times he throws himself into the water and then climbs back to the stern to mock the majestic animal. The otter, as we know, despite being a solitary animal, is very playful, loves to run, swim and jump.

The resigned orca eventually leaves, as Dornellas and Captain Major approach the Halibut Cove lagoon to allow London to dive safely. Later, the man discovered that the female killer whale, ID number AT163, was the largest in his pod. But this time there was no danger!
