The latter got stuck along the railway because she was injured and could not move. Panda hasn't turned away from her for a moment. He protected her and helped her to bend over as the trains passed, saving her from certain death.
But not only. With her body he warmed his partner against the harsh temperatures of Ukraine.
The inhabitants of Uzhgorod, seeing the scene, tried to get closer but the Panda dog barked them away several times.

“The male dog was protecting her from us. I saw a train approaching I felt bad but Panda heard the sound of the train arriving, he approached Lucy and lay down next to her ”says one of the inhabitants, Denis Malafeyev. “They both pushed their heads towards the ground and waited for the train to pass. I know for a fact that not all people would have done the same. "

Afterwards, the two dogs were hauled off the tracks and taken to the vets. Lucy had fractures but she will soon recover.
