The dog, terrified, was rescued and admitted to a veterinary hospital. Doctors found the presence of a bullet, various trauma and several injuries to the skin.
The animal rights association "Mundo vivo" has propounded complaint towards man for mistreatment.
The hunter faces up to 18 months of imprisonment and a fine of 30 thousand euros and various associations will ask the Ministry of the Environment to withdraw the hunting permit from the man.
