Green Hill: the protest continues amidst illness and threats

No longer just beagles: the story of Green Hill, the lager breeding of dogs for vivisection in Montichiari (Brescia), unfortunately begins to cause the first damage to the demonstrators. The story concerns Alexander, one of the activists of the garrison in front of the Municipality: 45 years old, a native of Milan, the man felt ill on Monday morning when, probably due to the cold and stress, he was hit by an arrest cardiocirculatory. Unfortunately, his conditions are still serious and the young protester is now hospitalized in intensive care in Brescia, kept by doctors in a pharmacological coma.

Not alone anymore beagle: the story of Green hill, the lager breeding of dogs for vivisection present in Montichiari (Brescia), unfortunately begins to cause also i first damage to demonstrators. The story concerns Alexander, one of the activists of the garrison in front of the Municipality: 45 years old, originally from Milan, the man felt ill on Monday morning when, probably in cause of cold and stress, was hit by a cardiac arrest. His conditions are unfortunately still serious and the young protester is now hospitalized in intensive care in Brescia, held by doctors in induced coma.

An episode due to the fact that the demonstrators who have been garrisoning the municipal offices of Montichiari for days to ask for the closure of Green Hill are not allowed to set up tents or take shelter under the arcades. Activists, most of whom have at least suspended the hunger strike, therefore find themselves fighting with rain and frost and this for almost two weeks now, without being given the slightest support from the institutions.

For this reason, and given the communication at the Police Headquarters of the former Minister Brambilla of wanting continue the initiative at least until December 20, the police would like to move the demonstrators to another area, in the industrial area, closer to the kennel. Here the activists could easily set up tents to stay but, they complain, they would certainly have less visibility than the headquarters of the Municipality. And therefore, for now, we remain in the square.

Another episode that has tainted the story is the one related to letter containing a bullet accompanied by death threats, delivered to the Commander of the Municipal Police, Christian Leali, involved in the pending criminal case against Green Hill. A letter not only unpleasant in content, but also bearing a sender (false, obviously) chosen not by chance: the Enpa of Milan. "I do not let myself be intimidated - said the Commander - Whoever has a clear conscience and only does his job, as is my case, can only go on".

In short, there are those who, in some way, are trying to tarnish the peaceful work of all the volunteers who have flocked to Montichiari to ask for the closure of Green Hill and those who, on the other hand, even risk giving their lives for the same cause. It is time for someone to move and put an end to this situation, which has now become national in scope but which seems to continue to be ignored by many.
