    Seven people have already been injured during the traditional Spanish bull run, which started just three days ago and will end next Sunday

    The annual appointment with the running of the bulls of Pamplona it started just three days ago and has already registered seven injuries, one of which is in serious condition.

    The party draws thousands of people from all over the world, many of whom are ready to being chased by the bulls through the streets of the city hoping not to be gored during the run of the animals.

    During the traditional event, considered the country's cultural heritage, six fighting bulls and several oxen are driven to run through the streets of the city, in an obligatory journey of almost 900 meters that leads the animals in a few minutes towards the bullfighting arena.

    Bulls and oxen weigh between 500 and 600 kilograms and register on time during the short run numerous wounded: in the last edition, 42 people were hospitalized.

    This year, just three days before the start of the event, the budget is three men left gored and three young men trampled from the herd during the first encierro, to which they are added two other injured in the next run.

    The injured were hospitalized and two of them suffered concussions: among the injured was a boy of just 23 years old, in serious condition.

    The criticisms of the animal rights activists who judge the Encierro one are harsh cruel and barbaric tradition: some activists from PETA and AnimaNaturalis have manifested naked covered only with fake bull heads and signs carrying slogans against the demonstration, asking the mayor to abolish it.
