Jimmy was so happy to receive a gift that without even realizing it he swallows Aripods. He's fine now.
He is about to end up run over, his mother saves himShe couldn't believe her eyes and nearly had a heart attack when young Rachel discovered that her beautiful Golden Retriever had swallowed some Airpods. But now, after the storm, everything seems clear again.
We are in Hull, Yorkshire, UK. Here Rachel Hicks had prepared a row of dog treats on the floor for her puppy Jimmy for Easter Sunday.
But Jimmy was so happy that in less than a second he caused pandemonium. And now he's miraculously alive.
“As he jumped, he threw my AirPods out of my pockets and they fell to the floor. Before I knew it, she ate them whole, ”Rachel said.
Rachel quickly rushed the puppy to Vets Now in Hull, where vets performed a complicated surgery to remove the device. Now Jimmy is safe and sound.
"Our vet on duty that evening, Steven, X-rayed Jimmy and the X-ray images clearly showed the AirPods case still intact in his digestive system," said Susana Jauregui, a veterinarian at Vets Now.
Golden retriever Jimmy was recently brought into our Hull emergency service after mistaking the item pictured in the x-ray for an Easter treat.Any guesses what the item might be?

Jimmy is a beautiful dog and he is fortunate that his owners have acted so promptly. Battery acid is highly dangerous for dogs as well as large foreign objects, especially if it passes into the intestines.
