A cat was miraculously saved from a 35-minute machine wash. The cat is in critical condition but the vets say he will be fine.
He is about to end up run over, his mother saves himUn cat miraculously survived a washing cycle in the washing machine. It happened in Minnesota: Felix, a one-year-old cat, was accidentally forgotten in the washing machine, where he probably fell asleep.
At the end of the washing cycle - which lasted a good 35 minutes - the owner noticed the cat's paw and immediately rescued him and accompanied him to the Animal Emergency Center in Minnesota.
Felix was in really critical conditions, he had lost his sight and could not breathe due to the water in his lungs.
To raise the money needed to pay for the young cat's care, the family started a fundraiser on GoFundMe thanks to which Felix has already received over $ 15 in less than a week.
It's really incredible that Felix was saved, but the vets have ensured that the cat will recover: the hope is that the blindness is temporary and that the function of the brain and lungs will return to normal.
The owner of the cat described Felix as an affectionate cat, very attached to the family dog and his human friends, curious, lively and with a splendid character.
The family, after this terrible experience, recommends everyone to always close the washing machine door when not in use and of always check that there are no animals inside before starting the wash.
