    Nick Abbott is a 31-year-old who lives in Maine. The young man decided to adopt Emerson, a Labrador puppy with the same disability and who, precisely because of this characteristic, had been abandoned.

    How do the two communicate? Through the sign language, the American one obviously which is the American Sign Language o Asl. The puppy was in fact taught to understand the main orders given in this language.

    It seems that fate brought the two friends together but a lot also depended on Nick's sensitivity who chose a dog that many other people had previously refused. Emerson was only 6 weeks old when he was abandoned, first found refuge in Florida and then arrived in Maine seeking long-term adoption.

    A volunteer from the animal rights association Nfr Maine had posted the application for adoption for the Labrador puppy and Nick promptly replied by writing: "I'm deaf too and I feel we will have a good feeling".

    Upon arriving home, Emerson was immediately taught the orders to sit, lie down, and come in sign language.

    The life and daily stories of these two unusual protagonists are arousing more and more curiosity on Instagram where Nick has started managing a page by posting photos of him with his dog.
