He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

The cow that avoided slaughter by jumping from a truck in New Jersey is now in her new home, the Skylands Animal Sanctuary Rescue, where she gave birth to a calf.

On the run to freedom, escaping a merciless fate! The story of Brianna, a cow and super mom, who jumped - pregnant - off a truck to a slaughterhouse in New Jersey and ran more than ever, went around the world.

A black and white Holstein who caused a sensation when she took Route 80 and trotted to safety. On the way, Police Director Jerry Speziale intercepts her and the volunteers of the Skylands Animl Sanctuary, an oasis run by animal rights, have practically adopted her.

"Brianna is now the proud mother of a beautiful calf named Winter," said sanctuary founder Mike Stura.

And continues "It was less than ten minutes from that slaughterhouse when she flew off the truck."

Both Brianna and Winter are now happy and more connected than ever, Stura said, with Winter normally drinking milk from her mom.

Brianna and Winter will join 68 other cattle in the sanctuary. There are other pairs of mothers and children living in the sanctuary, including Frida and Al, Emma and Jackson.
