He has traveled miles and miles 'clinging' behind the ambulance that was transporting its owner to the hospital. After a fit of dizziness, 85-year-old JR Nicholson from Mason, Texas, was rescued by health workers on his estate, but, as ABC News relates, he was unaware that theHis faithful furry friend, Buddy, wasn't about to let him go alone.
The dog he jumped, in fact, on the back of the ambulance, remaining 'clinging' to the external platform for getting on and off the vehicle. He traveled outside the vehicle, unbeknownst to the rescuers, for about 32 kilometers. Only when a motorist reported the dangerous presence of the dog to the driver of the vehicle on the way to the hospital faithful and fearless crossbreed of beagle he was immediately brought inside.
Luckily he was unharmed and was able to embrace its owner again. Brian Wright, aide on the old man's ranch, had actually noticed that the dog was missing, but he hadn't given it any weight, as it is customary, as a good mix-beagle, to go away and scour the countryside.
When he reached the hospital to check on his employer's condition, he was shocked to find that the faithful dog had escorted him there. Still doubts about who is man's best friend?
